Spring Pupil Services Meeting 2019

Thank you to those of you who attended our End of Year Pupil Services meeting this past June! It was an excellent time where we reviewed the previous year with our consortium partners and made plans for the upcoming school year. A request from this meeting was to also offer a Start of the School Year Pupil Services meeting where we can go over enrollment procedures for full time virtual students and for blended and allow for questions and answers from new and “veteran” consortium members on various aspects of the RVA and how our partnerships work. So… please save the date for October 8th! We will be sending out invites soon, but this will be the date of our Start of the School Year Pupil Services meeting.

Some of the topics that we plan to cover

• The new Online Enrollment Process for Full Time Virtual Students

• What is a Learning Center and what can they offer

• Process for approving or denying students who are at-risk

• Blended enrollments

In addition to the consortium pupil services staff that we have invited in the past (administrators, principals, counselors, learning center coordinators, etc), we would like to also invite administrative staff involved in the record keeping tasks of our shared students as we will be holding a session on creating and maintaining an RVA entity in your schools LMS, SIS and other systems.
