Our 3rd Annual Growing Connections Workshop is fast approaching!

RESTORATIVE PRACTICES RETREAT
August 7, 8:30am - 4pm Stevens Point, WI

Experience a transformative journey at our day-long Restorative Practices Retreat, tailored to empower educators in creating a positive school community. Throughout the day, participants will delve into the restorative principles and practices, learning to build strong connections with students, staff, and families.

Our expert facilitators will guide attendees through interactive sessions, equipping them with practical strategies to move toward conflict in order to help repair and heal. You’ll learn how these processes strengthen relationships and create a supportive learning environment for all. Attendees will experience restorative circles, academic circles, and community circles, and learn the fundamentals for creating space for empathy, accountability, and effective discipline.

This workshop goes beyond theory, providing hands-on exercises and real-world examples that allow your team to develop the skills needed for effective conflict resolution.

New to Restorative Practices?

Attend our Intro to Restorative Practices Session Virtually on April 24th.

Stressed out, burned out, and dropping out: do you feel that the students and the adults in your school are finding themselves near their breaking points? Some are just one moment away from a meltdown, while others are just focused on getting around expectations. There seems to be a general lack of accountability for words, (in)actions, and how we treat each other. And even how we treat ourselves. And that last one is a biggie.

The truth is we all have students who are disconnected from the greater community and are finding themselves at risk. And when we think of it, this might be true for some of the adults in our school community too. Living in post-pandemic America, we’re seeing the effects of parent stress and communities at odds about how schools should operate. Some days it just feels like it’s too much.

It’s really hard. And if doing what we’ve always done is no longer working, where do we turn? We turn toward regulation, connection, community, and relationships. Restorative Practices are the next right step in creating strong classroom management and trauma-informed discipline practices inside your learning environment!

Come learn about what the Restorative Practices are and some of the strategies that are being used in classrooms, hallways, lunch, rooms, buses, and more in order to help people deal with conflict and discipline and healthy ways.
